About this game:

Step inside the Science Fiction Museum’s first experimental VR gallery and see photorealistic post-apocalyptic digital art by Polish artist Michal Klimczak!

This new gallery is the first of many galleries and exhibition spaces, featuring experiential sound design, custom avatars, minority report-style UI pop-up screens, and a multi-visitor shared space environment where you can wander through the gallery and talk to your friends.

The next release, scheduled for late 2023, will include an interactive AI robot tour guide that can chat with you, several new galleries and exhibition spaces, a quantum computer tour, and an auditorium for live programs and events.

The VR Science Fiction Museum is a destination and starting point that inspires people and inspires learning – covering the history of an entire art genre and telling the story of its relationship to the real world. The main mission of the museum is to open the doors of imagination. The museum offers visitors the opportunity to experience and learn about some of the most important scientific and science fiction artifacts and achievements. The museum shows how science fiction continues to inspire individuals, cultures, and societies. It can also serve as an educational catalyst to expand interest in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) fields for engagement and entertainment.

The Science Fiction Museum believes that science fiction is rich in ideas that can serve as a springboard for curiosity and seeks to have a measurable positive impact on STEAM-related educational activities. Based on the belief that science fiction has educational value for all ages, the Museum’s VR gallery aims to educate and spark interest in STEAM through science fiction. The VR museum will eventually include a main entrance hall, seven themed galleries, and exterior spaces. The seven galleries include: Creator Gallery, Time Travel Gallery, Life Form Gallery, Computer & Robotics Gallery, Vehicle Gallery, Technology Gallery, and Other World Galleries.

Educational Focus:
The VR Science Fiction Museum is designed to integrate science education content into an engaging, immersive virtual reality science fiction environment. The primary goal of the VR Museum is to provide a quick starting point unlike the usual museums, providing visitors with new ways to interact with science, technology, engineering, art, and math educational content, providing an enhanced learning and entertainment experience. The VR museum will entertain and educate at the same time – providing visitors with an easier way to understand more challenging scientific concepts like quantum computing.

Classroom trips from anywhere in the world will enjoy the VR Museum, amazing educational science content from NASA and the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory, and even a tour inside a quantum computer. Visitors to the VR Museum will enjoy more interactive and learning opportunities from the exhibits and display items – creating a personalized experience that balances entertainment and education.
