About this game:
EmbodiMap is a creative experience that enables users to connect and explore how the body experiences emotions, feelings, and stress responses. Every time a feeling/sensation is recognized, it can be drawn as an avatar.
Users can move freely or enter their avatar body. In this way, participants create and dynamically engage with a field of 3D sensory maps that tell a story of changing sensations and consciousness.
A range of 3D “avatar” bodies, props, and environments are available. The avatar’s body can be selectively (re)shaped to reflect the user’s pose.
User-selectable voice guidance; Have shared experiences or go on a self-directed journey. This engagement is designed to support insight into autonomic nervous system activation or stress and anxiety responses, and to promote emotion regulation or dealing with difficult emotions.
Created pictures can be saved, exported, and revisited.
