About this game:
Tiny Castles is an “action puzzle game” built from scratch using hand tracking. This is an experimental project developed internally by Oculus to test the necessary interactions for a hand-only gaming experience.
In the game, you play as a powerful god. The goal of the game is simple – to free your “believers” from the evil god and his minions, and move forward to destroy the obelisk that provides evil power to the world. The game is designed to identify the types of game mechanics that work well with hand tracking. For this reason, it lacks a real balance of challenge and difficulty, and instead focuses more on showcasing a variety of hand interactions.
These include the “Playground” level, which is the best place to experience all the game mechanics in an isolated environment, while the actual game levels showcase the mechanics in a real-life game scenario.
