Komodo: Paradise Under Stress is a 20-minute VR nature documentary that takes you on an incredible journey through the waters and islands of Komodo National Park, a unique ecosystem in the Indonesian archipelago.

World record freediver and ocean explorer William Waingram and his protégé marine biologist Lucas Mueller go to great lengths to show you the beauty of the park and some of its iconic inhabitants, including the deadly Komodo monitor lizard and giant reef manta rays.

During the dive, they assist Andrea Marshall, the “Queen of Manta Rays” at Nat Geo, in researching the manta ray population in the park. Together, the three of them had some amazing encounters with the wildlife they were trying to protect. Sadly, it’s not all beauty and wonder. The team is facing severe plastic pollution, which is putting increasing pressure on this magical place.

VR Gorilla, the Watermen Project, and Blend Media have teamed up to produce this feature-length VR documentary.
